Cherry blossoms burst into full bloom across the city — from the Gejo River (下条川) to Azuma Bridge （東橋） along the Uchikawa River — bringing the vibrant spirit of spring to Imizu. At the same time, the fishing season for Toyama Bay’s “jewel”, the white shrimp, begins. It’s the perfect time to experience cherry blossoms, local traditions, and seasonal delicacies all at once.
